The Cancer Research Center at Tishreen University is a specialized academic and research center dedicated to deepening our understanding of cancer and advancing methods of diagnosis and treatment through scientific investigation. Founded to create a collaborative environment, the center connects researchers, physicians, and medical students from diverse fields to generate accurate scientific knowledge and promote a generation of evidence-based, research-oriented clinicians. The center supports evidence-based medical practice (EBM) and encourages early student involvement in research through hands-on training and real-world projects. It also organizes academic activities and training events to elevate the capabilities of both the academic and medical communities.

Enhancing medical education by involving students in research projects and training them in scientific methods. Organizing specialized workshops and training sessions in medicine and research. Building long-term partnerships with research centers, universities, and scientific institutions both within Syria and internationally.
